Welcome at Forgotten Places,

Ever wandered around in an old factory or a deserted house?...No? That's a shame, because it's well worth doing so. Deserted castles, hospitals, factories, bunkers, coal mines, military establishments, we have it all here in Belgium.

What's so special about it?

The atmosphere at such places is very unique. Most of the time it's creepy, it's like you can still feel the presence of the people who lived in these places. The wind accentuates this feeling even more (banging doors and windows). The more you fantasize about it, the more you start imagining things. We also study the history of the "forgotten" buildings. What was the purpose of this factory? Who lived in this house? Why was the building deserted?...

Not every exploration of a building is without risks: rotted floors, unstable walls, asbest, and most of all: drugs dealers are dangerous to every Explorer/Photographer. Despite all of this, we still take the risk so we can make pictures of most of the decayed buildings in Belgium. This way, we try to preserve a piece of history so no one ever forgets...
