> First things first,I own you visitors an explanation why this website hasn't been updated for more than a year and a half. There are different reasons,first,the old website was not easy to update cause the layout structure was too complex,It took a lot of time to update a series of photographs and time is something I have little of. Second,I've had to redesign the new layout a few times because of some coding problems and third,I just felt that photographing was more important than this website,cause that's what it's all about : the photographs. Out with the old,in with the new! We're back in action,the layout is ready,coding is almost done and the photographs are being scanned. The past year and a half were hectic,tons of new abandoned places had to be visited,some already abandoned for 40 years,others threathened to be demolished(unfortunately,lots of them are gone by now). Abandoned steelworks,castles,textile factories,amusement parks,hospitals,military buildings,mines,breweries etc...I've seen 'em all. What can we expect? The new website comes with a fresh layout, based on 3 colors : black,white and red,basic menu's, easy to navigate,and offcourse : new photographs. Though,there will be some changes.The old website will be kept online,but will disappear over time. The new photo galleries are designed with thumbnails on the left side of the page and the larger pictures on the right. I still work with an analog camera,development costs are high,thats why the website won't be updated on a regular base,could be every 2 weeks,or every month. Beware,the resolutions of the new photographs are higher than the old ones,so loading time can increase for people with a slow internet connection,the same applies for the website in general.The only advise I can give you for that is : be patient! Ending note... On the left side of this page, I've presented 15 photographs,all of them in high resolution.With these pictures you have an idea how the rest of the photographs will look like on the future site. (the size will be smaller on the website) And now,the final question : When will the site be ready and online? Well,that depends on the man who is coding it,I hope somewhere in september!
